The Northern Bombers have key forward Tom Bennett coming back into their side after being rested from the final roster game against Devonport last week.
They also included exciting young Mariner Marcus Haley and midfielder Bryton Mullins on their interchange.
"Tommy Bennett will play, which is great, and we rested him last week when there wasn't much on the game effectively so we gave him that week off and he will come in and play, which is really good," North Launceston coach Zane Littlejohn said.
"We lose Jay Lockhart who tweaked his knee which is disappointing to have one of our leaders out.
"He has a scan scheduled and we will find out more after that about exactly what the problem is."
BURNIE expects to regain Claye Hardy after he was a late withdrawal last week against Glenorchy and Romain Grenville comes back in after a week off last week.
Chris McDonald misses with a one week suspension.
"Claye will play and we made the decision last week before the game to not risk him out on the field to enable him to get up for this week which was a difficult decision to make," Burnie coach Clinton Proctor said.
"Romain Grenville and James Dowling come back in and we will finalise the squad after training."
DEVONPORT coach Mitch Thorp was named as an emergency for the second week running for the Magpies' elimination final against Lauderdale at Bellerive Oval along with Klay Griffiths for their first TSL final in five years.
"We're pretty fortunate with Klay Griffiths and myself available," Thorp said.
"We will train tonight (Thursday) and confirm our side after training and if we both play we will be full strength and from all reports Lauderdale will be in the same position other than for Matty Smith so I think it is going to be a very good game of footy.
"I will need to train fully tonight and if I do that I will play."
LAUDERDALE regained Zac Plant and Nat Franklin for the do-or-die semi.
"We don't think we will get too many more back in after this week but with about 40mm of rain forecast for the next two days we might leave it a bit later to make a final decision on what the make-up of our team is going to look like," Lauderdale coach Darren Winter said.
