The Geelong Star is currently docked in Victoria after the vessel killed eight dolphins and four fur seals last month.
Earlier this month, the peak bodies sent the Geelong Star's operators a ``proposal'' for shared use of the species that inhabit the fishery, but the proposal was rejected.
The Geelong Star's operators then sent a counter proposal, but it was also rejected.
TARFish chief executive officer Mark Nikolai said the peak bodies have sent one final proposal to the Geelong Star's operators and have given them until 5pm today to agree.
The details of the proposals are unknown at this time.
