The Anzac Day March of Remembrance saw veterans, schools and families take the spotlight as the thousands of onlookers applauded their sacrifice.
Nurses, Vietnam, Korean and Afghanistan war veterans and the Tasmanian branch of the Royal Australian Artillery Association all marched proudly through the city.
With the march ending at the Cenotaph, wreaths were laid by representatives of the entire Tasmanian community.
