The East Coast Heritage Museum in Swansea will feature a unique and historic billiard table in its 100-year Anzac celebrations this year.
The 1880 Alcock & Co Billiard table will be on display in the museum on April 25.
But it will also be used for a "Six-Red Memorial Anzac Centenary Snooker Tournament", featuring 16 local players on April 26.
The winner of the tournament will receive $320 and the runner-up will receive $160, while the highest break prize will be $50.
Museum curator and East Coast historian Maureen Martin Ferris said the tournament will be dedicated to ex-service men and women.
"This combined billiard exhibition and snooker tournament is dedicated to Glamorgan ex-service men and women who served during the Great War," she said.
"It is to their memory that this tournament pays its respects in unison with the '100 years of ANZAC celebrations' being held Australia-wide at this time."
The tournament will be aired via direct video links on YouTube and a TV link from the Heritage Museum to the Swansea RSL facility.
"East Coast Museum believes that with these technological links, we will be allowing the local community, tourists, and the broader international community to appreciate the Glamorgan area - particularly Swansea - in this instance," Ms Ferris said.
"We also believe that these cue sport events will significantly promote the area as well as encapsulating the historical essence of the East Coast, whilst the additional visitors attending during this significant era in Australia's past, and contemporary history, will continue to convey their good tidings about our area."
In addition to this snooker tournament, the museum has also secured the talent of renowned Tasmanian players Les Higgins and Royden Bishop.
The pair are former Tasmanian billiard championship winners.
