A $1200 donation was granted by the club to suicide prevention organisation Rural Alive and Well (RAW).
RAW chief executive officer Danial Rochford said the donation was great news for the organisation.
Mr Rochford said the funds coincided with the announcement of a new officer for the Meander Valley and Kentish region, as well as the Northern Midlands area.
Westbury Rotary Club president Rob Dent said they selected the organisation after they made a presentation at one of the club meetings.
"We came across them a little bit when we were doing things with the fires at Dunalley," Mr Dent said.
"We've known about them and asked them to come and speak to us.
"It's up to them what they use the money for, we gave it to them to help what they're doing."
He said because Westbury was in a rural area, the club found it easy to sympathise with the RAW cause.
Funds for the donation were raised through the club's annual Australia Day breakfast.
Mr Dent said the popular event gave them enough to make substantial contributions to two organisations.
"The money raised at the breakfast is always donated to a particular charity," he said.
"It is popular, it's been going for quite a number of years now, we get quite a few people there at the RSL, which is where we normally meet."
Mr Dent said the club also assisted other causes, such as the Rotary Foundation and smaller projects around Westbury.
"We also just recently sent a container to Fiji," he said.
