Beaconsfield’s Leah Beechey entered her chocolate tabby point Siamese cat Si – known as Tiffany Pharaoh at the event – in his third cat show yesterday.
Ms Beechey said Si was a hyperactive and intelligent cat whose tricks included flushing the toilet and closing doors.
‘‘I entered him in the show just to get out and about. I love all cats, so just to get out with other people who love cats,’’ she said.
‘‘I bought a pedigree, so I thought he might as well get shown off a little bit.’’
Si won best in neuter – group 2 in the first ring of judging.
Organiser’s assistant Cindy Smith said there had been 123 cats and kittens on show.
‘‘We’ve got a really good turn out, a great amount of cats,’’ she said.
‘‘It depends on what the breeders have got. This time we have lots of kittens because it’s that time of the year.
‘‘The judging is going really well, which is [often] a bit of an issue when you’ve got so many cats to try and get organised.’’
