Berry growers across the state have harvested huge crops in the season, and picking will not finish for another month on many properties.
Kate's Berry Farm owner Kate Bradley said she tried out some different techniques in preparation for this season and it seemed to be paying off.
"Having that extra rain has just made huge difference, the strawberries should be going until the end of April if not May," Ms Bradley said.
"I tried out a different watering system, heavier mulching and a greater degree over the amount of water we put it.
"Over-watering actually worse than under-watering so it's very delicate."
Ms Bradley said that, in the past, her berry season had extended right out until June and this year it could do the same.
"I'm usually one of the last ones to pick but it just depends on the weather," she said.
"We've got a micro-climate here and if the weather's good then we'll just keep picking but if it gets too cold and too wet and the flavour starts to go, I stop picking.
"It's one of the best season we've had for about 10 years."
Growing strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, among others, Kate's Berry Farm has become known for the quality of their cool-climate products.
Ms Bradley sells her berries exclusively at the farm cafe on the Swansea property.
