New U10 coach Nick Claxton and U14 coach Matty Allen have been welcomed to the club's leadership board.
The players, fresh out of the club themselves, had been put through the Hawks junior pathways program, according to club secretary Daniel Smedley.
"They were both co-captains of the U16 team in 2013, both are very well regarded in our club," Smedley said.
"They have made the decision to have a go at coaching, so we've put some other older coaches alongside them to give them support."
He said former player Jake Lowe had also been through the club program and was now coaching the St Patricks Old Boys seniors team.
"Some of the journeys start with leadership roles in high school teams and community club settings," Smedley said.
"It's really positive when you see young blokes take on those roles."
He said Tim Gordon would also be coming back for a second year in a coaching role with the club.
"Tim previously played football at a state level with the Tassie Mariners and the old Tasmanian Devils VFL team," Smedley said.
"He's been a great addition to the team, he played with Clarence when he was down south — he's very accomplished."
