The proposed agricultural processing centre would be constructed at Cressy's Burlington Road industrial precinct.
The council held three workshops late last year, which saw approval of a draft report in December. Northern Midlands Council senior planner Paul Godier said the final report was placed on public exhibition in January.
Mr Godier said feedback was received from the Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment Department regarding the Cressy Research Station.
He said the feedback had been addressed in the final report. "This motion is asking the council to endorse the document, council should also note recommendations on the document as part of this report," Mr Godier said.
The report listed eight recommendations, including conducting a feasibility study into proposed land and to upgrade Burlington Road for traffic demands.
Cr Dick Adams moved to adopt and release the Northern Midlands Processing Centre Report and to hold a workshop regarding the recommendations.
The motion was seconded by Cr Ian Goninon.
Council planning and development manager Duncan Payton said the motion's approval would allow the report to be circulated to previous workshop participants.
