The crash involved five cars, and claimed the life of Devonport's 63-year-old Christine Sylvia Bone.
It occurred about 11am on October 2 between Devonport and Latrobe.
A 63-year-old Latrobe man has been charged with negligent driving causing death and driving a vehicle with an insecure load. He will be summonsed to appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court.
A woman who was driving a Ford sedan will also be summonsed to appear in court, charged with driving with an illicit drug in her body.
The driver of a Holden Commodore will further receive a summons for over having an unrestrained child in the car, and a number of vehicle defects.
