The airline told Fairfax Media that delays were spread across Australia and New Zealand, a result of a ``knock-on'' effect from troubleshooting the computers earlier today.
A Jetstar spokesman said the outage impacted applications used by airport and flight crews to prepare for take-off and that ground staff were forced to use fax machines to send information.
He said passengers should check their flight statuses on the company's website to see what time they now needed to check in.
Although the spokesman said flights could be delayed by up to 90 minutes, Launceston's JQ476 flight to Melbourne is scheduled for a 3.25pm departure, but has been given a 5.30pm departure estimate.
