With strawberries, gooseberries, silvanberries, blackberries, boysenberries and marionberries all available at the farm, people have found it hard to know where to start.
Families, friends and individuals can go out, grab a basket and start picking their favourite berries ready for Christmas dessert.
Longford Berries owner Dennis Betts said the family business went along very nicely at this time of year.
"Our season is just beginning so we've got lots of fruit still to start to produce," Mr Betts said.
"Everybody has a great time just being able to enjoy being out, seeing where the berries actually come from and actually being able to pick them for themselves.
"Once our season really gets going we have lots and lots of people come."
He said one of the things he enjoyed the most was having the same people go out every year to pick their Christmas berries.
"Some come out to get their Christmas strawberries bright and early on Christmas Eve," he said.
"There's lots going on out here."
Jams and chutneys are also available but it is best to get in quick because they always sell out fast, whether it is the Christmas season or not.
"We have our very popular chutney which we basically sell out of every week," he said.
"We only make small batches of our jams but we make them regularly so they're fresh."
Longford Berries is located on Bulwer Street at Longford and is open Wednesdays and weekends from 9.30am.
