TASMANIAN Police Commander Brett Smith says an internal investigation will be held into the circumstances leading to a fatal crash that killed an Evandale woman last night.

A Ford Falcon crashed into a four-wheel-drive on Evandale Road, one kilometre south of the Launceston Airport.
The woman was turning into her driveway when she was struck by the Falcon.
She died at the scene.
