Just before 8am on Saturday, police say offenders broke into a home in Hungry Flats Road.

During the home invasion, a man was assaulted and restrained, and guns were taken.

No information was made available about what sorts of firearms, or how many, were taken.

Police are seeking assistance from the public, and have asked anyone with any information or who may have seen a white hatch car in the area at the time to pass on information to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
