National Premier League giant killers Bentleigh Greens will have to wait a month to see if they can make the semi-finals of the FFA Cup after being given a date of October 29 for their quarter-final clash with one of the other remaining non A-League teams in the draw, Adelaide City.

The match against the South Australians is at their home ground, the Kingston Heath Soccer Complex in Melbourne. Their two previous Cup games – knockout victories over Blacktown City and Sydney Olympic – were away games.
Bentleigh's fixture is on the same night that Melbourne Victory travel to West Australia for the all A-League quarter final against Perth Glory at nib Stadium. Victorian fans will get a chance to watch both games as Bentleigh's match starts at 7.30pm and Victory's kicks off two and a half hours later, at 7pm Perth time (10pm EAST).
The FFA Cup has reached the business end, with three teams from outside the A-League still in contention.The third is Palm Beach Sharks, from Queensland, who entertain Central Coast Mariners on October 14. The heavyweight clash of the round is when Sydney FC hosts Adelaide United on October 21.
While the teams from the NPL have had the fitness advantage in the early rounds because their matches were in their winter season, the boot is on the other foot now as the A-League clubs gear up to full fitness before their season opens at the end of next week.
*Socceroos boss Ange Postecoglou will be promoting the forthcoming Asian Cup, to be held in Australia in January, at a business function in Sydney on Wednesday. Australia will be one of the favourites to win the tournament, although its FIFA world ranking has slipped to 84 and it was ranked only ninth in the Asian region in the latest standings.
