The show last year saw about 4500 people through its gates, and it is again expected to draw attendees from beyond its municipal bounds.
Show secretary Shannon Barwick said stallholder applications had been sent and the acts were in the process of being finalised.
"We've got local talent Amber Clarke, David Rockliffe "The Singing Farmer", PCYC Launceston Taiko Drums and the local Westbury line dancing group," Ms Barwick said.
"The state championships for the yard dog trials will be held here as well."
Although the rides of the city shows are not included in the event, she said many other fun features were sure to entertain attendees.
"There's face painting, a balloon twister, a pet lamb competition, fancy dress on ponies and a scarecrow competition as well," Ms Barwick said.
"We held the first scarecrow competition last year. There was a fantastic response to that, so we're making it an annual thing.
"We have a really good array of food stalls as well — we're trying to create a mini food extravaganza."
The show will be held on November 8 at the Westbury Showgrounds. For more information, go to www.westburyshow. com.au.
