EARLIER: Paramedics have treated a man at the scene of a house fire at Mowbray today.
The fire was reported in Calais Street at 1.38pm.
Firefighters arrived to find the occupant outside the house and officers quickly extinguished the blaze.
They also applied first-aid to the man, who was lying on the footpath in the street, until paramedics arrived.
An Ambulance Tasmania spokeswoman said a man suffered smoke inhalation and no-one was transported to hospital.
A Tasmania Fire Service spokesman said investigations into the cause of the fire were underway.
