Skateboarding Australia has all bases covered ahead of its all-ages workshops at Gravelly Beach and Westbury this weekend.
Newly appointed SbA state manager Clinton Bassett said the free instructional events catered to skaters of all abilities and focused on more than just tricks.
``SbA promotes the growth and development of skateboarding in Australia,'' Bassett said.
``A lot of kids don't have local skate parks and look forward to having a regular crew of skates and friends to skate with at these events.''
Bassett has been skating for as long as he can remember, and is now sharing his passion with his 11-year-old daughter.
Sessions include safety advice, techniques, games and competitions.
Skate sessions will run from 1pm to 3pm at Gravelly Beach skate park today, and during the same time at Westbury skate park tomorrow.
For more information about the workshops go to www.sba.org.au, or call Clinton Bassett on 0437 422 194.
