Adrian John Hall, a criminal barrister, pleaded not guilty to three counts of common assault earlier this month.
Two of the assaults were alleged to have occurred on Christmas Eve 2012 at the home he shared with his partner in Launceston.
But Chief Magistrate Michael Hill yesterday acquitted Mr Hall of all three assault charges.
Mr Hill found Mr Hall guilty of multiple breaches of a Police Family Violence Order and ordered that he must be on good behaviour for 12 months, but did not record a conviction.
