BEN Lomond's predicted overnight snowfall did not disappoint, with 2cm of snow blanketing the summit last night.
Residents at the Tasmanian Rover Ski Club awoke to -5.1C temperatures and while there will not be enough dust for skiers and snowboarders today, tourists are taking advantage of the picturesque setting with their cameras.
There will also be plenty of snow to please kids at the mountain's fun day.
The fun day will be held from 11am to 3pm today, including a $2 sausage sizzle, lolly scramble and games.
More snow is expected to hit the mountain next week.
Tasmania Police has advised that heavy snow is causing motorists issues on Anthony Link Road, Queenstown.
The road is passable, but caution is required.
