The event, held at Riverside's Tailrace Centre, drew about 230 people to help raise funds for the 15-year-old who is at risk of getting leukaemia due to her Down syndrome.
The Knox family has been flying between Launceston and Melbourne since Lizzy suffered a nasty virus earlier this year. The illness increased her chances of a cancer diagnosis.
Organiser Lee-Ann Patterson said last week was particularly rough on the family, partly because of Lizzy undergoing a liver biopsy.
She said money raised would ease financial pressure on Lizzy's family.
``Tonight's quite emotional,'' Ms Patterson said.
``[Lizzy's mother] Suzy has been strong enough to be introduced on stage.''
Ms Patterson said the community support had been heartening.
``It takes your breath away, the kindness and generosity we have in this small Northern city just blows you away.
``This is bigger than what we thought it would be.''
The final figure for funds raised will be revealed later this week.
