Then and Now: A Celebration, by Tasmanian and Queensland artists Fereleth Lee, Jacqueline LaCava and Tom Powlay took out the $15,000 prize at Mural Park today.
The competition wrapped up following a week of work by the nine finalists.
Artists work had to respond to the theme Island Life and a poem of the same name.
They commenced work last Sunday and had to paint every day until today when they put down their brushes down at 1pm.
Other award winners were:
Visitors choice: The Great Southern Land, by Victorian artist Damian Cazaly.
Art appreciation: Sandy Track of Time, by Tasmanian artist Gren Freeman.
