450 pay respect at Scottsdale

MORE than 450 veterans, their families and residents attended the Anzac Day commemorative service this morning at the Scottsdale RSL.

RSL sub branch president Bruce Scott said it was one of the biggest turnouts he'd ever seen.

The service was led by Mr Scott and accompanied by the Scottsdale Choir.

After a short march to the cenotaph, more than 10 wreaths were laid by local service groups, organisations and political parties.
