Market organisers Judith Murray and Gwen Barber said that Saturday's warm, sunny weather certainly helped to ensure a bumper crowd.
``There was an early burst when we opened, after which it was pretty steady all day, with a good crowd through until it started dropping off after lunch,'' Ms Murray said.
``Stallholders have reported good turnover too, which is great.''
Ms Barber said that the Easter market weather tended to be more settled that the January market, which tended to be a bit windy.
``There was a great atmosphere, helped along by the singing of Launceston's Sophie Bodell,'' she said.
The next Bridport market will be on the Saturday of the November long weekend.
