Two men rescued by chopper
Just before 8am, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter had to take a 59-year-old Bronte Park man to the Royal Hobart Hospital after he fell off a horse near Ouse.
It then flew to the Freycinet Peninsula, where a 68-year-old man had injured his knee on the Hazards track.
The man was tended to by the chopper's paramedic, before before winched into the aircrafted and flown back to the car park, which was several kilometres away.
He was then given further medical attention.
