Middleton's latest collection of prints, simply entitled Seeds, opened yesterday at Evandale's Handmark Gallery in conjunction with furniture and design maker Stuart Williams's show, Sowing.
Middleton said her latest works were inspired by wandering through the property where she now lives.
In the 19th century it was inhabited by Arthur Yates, of Yates Seeds.
She said she would often imagine the crops of flowers and vegetables grown from seed, harvested and propagated by the Yateses.
"It's about the optimism of planting seeds, how you plant something to make it your own and to put your mark on the environment," Middleton said.
The joint exhibition continues at Handmark Gallery until April 30.
