Nearly 200 interstate entrants representing clubs from Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia, will make a total of 320 entries in the biggest swimming event held in Tasmania this year.
Among the Northern Tasmanian swimmers who have qualified for the nationals will be Launceston Aquatic's Ariarne Titmus, Freya Jetson, Kit de Jonge and Tom Curran, South Esk's James Curran, Riverside's Kaity Ellston and Cradle Coast's Pru Hamdorf.
Heats will be held each day from 9am-1pm with the top eight returning for finals from 4pm and many records expected to tumble.
