Howard urges Tasmanians to vote Liberal

FORMER Liberal prime minister John Howard wrapped up an overnight Launceston visit with a plea to elect Will Hodman and the Liberals on March 15.

He spoke to the media this morning before flying back to Sydney, saying Tasmania needed a majority government to get things done.

He urged people not to ``waste'' their vote on smaller parties, such as the Palmer United Party.
