The former state under-19 representative first helped tie down a Metz Jets side that had made a blistering start by taking 2-26 off three overs of his off-spin, before bludgeoning 44 from his 15 balls as the Titans chased down a tricky target of 148.
The South Launceston-aligned side finished at 9-148 with nine balls to spare, with Michael Jones (18 off 10), Hamish Kingston (17 off 7), Chris Hay (15 off 13) and Mitch Thorp (11 off 5) providing major contributions to the scoreboard.
Apart from Nick Cashion (4-17 off three overs) and Tristan Weeks (3-21 from 2.3 overs), the Jets bowlers had no answers.
Earlier, their batsmen got off to a fast start, thanks mainly to Cal Morse's 22 off six balls, reaching 51 from 3.4 overs.
Kingston (3-20) and Warwick Johnson (3-17) joined MacMillan in putting the clamps on after Jets batsman John McCoy contributed 22 before retiring.
Cashion (18 off 10) and Weekes (17 off 14) backed up from their work with the ball to help boost what proved to be an unsuccessful total.
The win was enough to lift the Titans into the top four and qualify for next week's finals, while the Jets finish as the competition's first wooden spooner.
