The brother of the late Michael Hodgman and uncle of Opposition Leader Will Hodgman has confirmed he wants to reclaim his old seat in State Parliament.

Mr Hodgman held the seat of Huon in 1974 for 12 years until he resigned to run for the seat of Franklin in the House of Assembly.
The 67 year old says he feels rejuvinated after 12 years out of politics and feels confident he can win the seat if pre-selected.
The decision comes after incunmbent Paul Harriss announced he will resign from the seat of Huon to run as a Liberal for Franklin in the state election.
Mr Hogman will be running on the platforms of assisting business in the state by reducing red tape.
"You can't move," Mr Hodgman said.
"I have major concerns for Tasmania".
