Fagan has carved his career moniker - Lord of the Strings - through his work on the 10-string guitar and the ukulele.
He has recently returned from America and has toured with Natalie Cole, The Original Buena Vista Social Club, Shirley Bassey, Michael Crawford and Billy Connolly.
Earlier this year he performed at the Melbourne Ukulele Festival.
A particular highlight of Matthew's performance is his virtuosic hit rendition of J.S Bach's Toccata on Celtic Steel String Guitar.
He will host workshops in the afternoon and perform in the evening, both at the Bass and Flinders Centre at George Town, on Saturday, November 23.
