The siblings were named best on ground in the Blues' 18-point defeat of arch-rival Clarence on Saturday and capped that off by both being named among a record crop of Tasmanians heading to the AFL National Draft Combine.
Kade claimed the three votes in the player of the year competition to continue an impressive 2013 which has already seen him enjoy an AIS-AFL Academy tour to England.
Describing a sparkling performance at Windsor Park in ?ifThe Sunday Examiner,?nf Nathan Bester reported: ``The man known as KK dominated proceedings proving why he is being touted among the high picks in the national draft.''
The Kolodjashnij brothers were joined by five other promising State League youngsters invited to the draft combine in October at Melbourne's Etihad Stadium.
Burnie duo Brady Grey and Eli Templeton, plus North Launceston's Toby Nankervis, Devonport's Alex Pearce and Zac Webster, of Glenorchy, were also invited.
All seven were key players in the state under-18 academy's division 2 championship win.
They will take part in the beep test, three-kilometre time trial, vertical jump and 20-metre sprint, psychological profiling and also meet with AFL clubs interested in recruiting them.
AFL Tasmania's chief executive Scott Wade was delighted with the number of invitees from the state.
``This is a great endorsement of our talent programs and the Tasmanian State League, which we clearly believe prepares these players for their future careers in AFL football,'' he said.
High performance manager Mathew Armstrong added: ``This is a great reward for the players but equally for all staff members, coaching and operational, that have put a lot of time into the young men.''
Elsewhere in the player of the year award, former Hawthorn forward Mitch Thorp continue his seemingly inevitable progress ?towards victory with seven goals in South Launceston's 23-point win over premier Burnie.
Thorp's three votes extended his lead over Launceston's Sonny Whiting to a formidable 10 votes.
