My Closet Market, held at Windmill Hill Hall, offered 22 stalls of pre-loved clothes and jewellery at a fraction of their original price.
Co-organiser Naomi Pugh said the market had an overwhelming response, with plans to turn it into a regular event.
``We probably had about 400 people through, the feedback was brilliant, and we're booked out for at least one more market, which will be held in October,'' Mrs Pugh said.
``Some people were walking away with things for $2, while another lady was selling a coat for $90 that had been originally $1000.
``It's only going to get better. We've got some good-quality stalls and clothing lined up.''
The next stall will be at the Windmill Hill Hall on October 27, from 12pm to 3pm. Entry is $2.
