Reissig is ineligible to play as he has a one-match suspension to serve from last season.
He was outed after being reported in the final game of the 1998 roster season against Ulverstone when he was coaching Deloraine.
Reissig has switched to Latrobe this year and will head a new-look Demons team.
Eight new players were picked on Thursday night, including Simon McCall, Matthew Stephenson and Duncan O'Toole, who have switched from Devonport. Former Deloraine team-mate Craig Ambrose has joined Reissig at Latrobe and his second clearance application was approved on Thursday night.
Launceston will also unearth several new players today, including John Stedman, Stuart Prewer, Anthony Couts and Len Towns.
SCOTTSDALE and ULVERSTONE meet in what is shaping as the match of the round at Scottsdale.
The two traditional rivals have had many stirring battles over the years and today should be no different. Scottsdale has won five of its 11 home games against Ulverstone and today will have forwards Troy Davies and John Dusautoy and exciting youngster Tim Barrett in the team for the first time.
Ulverstone won five-consecutive premierships before being beaten in last year's preliminary final and some strong off-season recruiting has the Robins back to their best.
Darren Jones, Andrew Walmsley and Joe Pearson have returned from Devonport and prominent basketballer Sean Sherlock makes a surprise appearance at full- back.
EAST DEVONPORT will have one of the youngest teams in the competition after including eight players from last year's reserves and under 18s for the Girdlestone Park clash against DELORAINE.
New Deloraine coach Kent Tyson has been chosen at full-back for his first game with the Kangaroos in three years after previously playing with the Northern Bombers.
Younger brother Mark has returned to Deloraine with him and centreman Glenn Armstrong is back after a stint with NWFA club Mole Creek.
Deloraine has a sound record at Girdlestone Park where it has won six of 14 encounters.
PENGUIN will be out to break a long losing sequence when it hosts WYNYARD tomorrow.
The two Blues failed to win a game in 1998 and their last victory was on August 2, 1997 with a 14-point win over Deloraine in round 17.
That equates to 21 games without a win but coach Gary Carpenter is looking for improvement this year and the club has recruited ruckman-forward Matthew Van Ommen, from South Burnie, and Devonport youngster Kurt Gillam.
Allistaire and Marcus Bourn, Grant Williams and Damien Harrison, who all played with the Burnie Dockers last year, will strip for Wynyard today.
SOUTH LAUNCESTON has lost almost half of last year's premiership team but will still prove a formidable opponent for SMITHTON today.
Jason Elmer has replaced Dean Chiron as coach with his assistant Chris Hill returning after a stint with Ballarat.
Cameron Lockett, who began his career with Smithton, will play against his old club today after moving to South Launceston because of work.
Smithton coach Kent Jackson has put his faith in a nucleus of youthful talent from Circular Head and the only experienced recruit is Gerard Simpson, who has returned from Mangoplah-Cookadinia United in the Riverina League, NSW.
