Heath Rattray, former Dorset general manager Tom Ransom and Barry Jarvis were, with sitting councillor Steven Arnold, elected for four-year terms.
Mayor Peter Partridge and Deputy Mayor Yvonne Thorne were re-elected for two-year terms.
In keeping with council policy, the council's representation on various committees will be revisited in the aftermath of last month's local government elections.
The council has representatives on 25 committees from aged-care provider Aminya to the Scottsdale Recreation Ground Advisory Committee.
Councillors will debate a request by the North-East Primary School Sport Association to use Dorset's facilities on a pay-as-you-go basis rather than through an annual lease arrangement.
