Ms De Williams, herself a breast cancer survivor, became the first woman to run around Australia after embarking on the marathon project in 2009. She was nominated for the Heather and Christopher Chong Outstanding Achiever award in the 2011 Community Achievement Awards. Nominations for the awards close on July 9.
