The deal is a great windfall for Mrs Hosken, who cannot disclose the manufacturer's identity for another couple of weeks due to a confidentiality agreement.
She did reveal, however, that it operates 46 factories and a "huge amount of research and development into the industry''.
Nearly Nude is a seamless, body-stocking style of underwear designed in line with each season's new fashion lines.
It is a staple in the wardrobes of the gorgeous and glamorous including Jessica Simpson and Mischa Barton.
The unique undergarments were the brainchild of a woman who was born in Launceston, schooled at Punchbowl Primary and Launceston Church Grammar School, and believed in her own abilities.
