AND THE TIGER GOES ... WOOF?

14 Jun, 2010 12:39 PM
A Golden Retriever, dyed to look like a tiger, plays with a Chow Chow, dyed to look like a panda, at the Dahe Pet Civilization Park in Zhengzhou, Henan province June 8, 2010. The park bought four Chow Chows and a Golden Retriever from a pet market in Sichuan as an attempt to attract visitors, local media said.

What about a dyed chihuahua to look like a fox for Tasmania, should be worth another 50 million dollars.

I think this is wrong, it may seem cute, but dying hair is harmful. I wonder if they had to use anesthesia? If it was temporary, maybe ok, but to get a chow white permanently, this requires chemicals...so wrong!

It looks cool but even if the dyes are safe for the dogs we don't know the effects of changing the appearance of their coats will affect them psychologically. Stress, fear and whatnot.

The originally white chow would be easy, you just dye the color black on the animal, but, the tiger/lab would be really hard. I know someone that dyes her white dogs different colors but this is art and very creative. FANTASTIC!

This dog is adorable, but will this cause any side effect to the dog? If the answer is yes, i prefer them to stay as what they originally look like.
