The school is one of only two in the state and one of 20 in the country to be accepted into the program in 2012.
Through three forums this year, the program will teach three staff how to better utilise the technology the school has as an educational tool and then use this to enhance the learning of students.
Information communication technology teacher Fay Goold said she wanted to go beyond teaching the basics and children playing aimlessly on computers and develop the use of all technology, such as laptops, interactive white boards and digital cameras, into every subject area, not just in IT.
``We get support to develop our own focus areas or subjects, to network with other schools and not just in Australia but world wide,'' Ms Goold said.
``We also get access to new developments from Microsoft.''
She said that it also gave them access to an online community of schools to learn from each other and further enhance what they could offer.
Ms Goold said that with so much state and federal money being spent on technology in schools, it wanted to ensure it was getting the greatest benefit from it.
