Four in court charged with murder

FOUR men were charged with murder in an out of hours sitting of the Launceston Magistrates Court on Sunday. Nathan Patrick Mayne, Shaun Gregory Richardson and Kane Robert Richardson, all of Newnham, pleaded not guilty to the murder of 31-year-old Nathan John Woolley, of Ravenswood. Andrew John Semmens, 27, of Perth, did not enter a plea. Mr Woolley died in the Royal Hobart Hospital on Christmas Day after an incident at Ravenswood on December 21. The four have been remanded in custody to reappear at a later date.
