Amanda Lea Haywood also pleaded not guilty to procuring a child to be involved in making child exploitation material.
The alleged offences took place between November 20 and December 9 last year.
Ms Haywood was bailed to reappear in court for mention on November 17, and for hearing on December 16.
It is not clear whether the charges are connected to a Tasmania Police investigation into an alleged relationship between a female Ashley employee and a 16-year-old inmate convicted of attempted murder.
In November last year, the inmate was sentenced to eight months in custody, after trying to kill a girl with an axe on March 15.
The staff member resigned in December after an internal investigation, following the discovery of two mobile phones and a screwdriver hidden in a residential unit.
One of the phones allegedly contained a series of explicit text messages that appeared to have been exchanged between a resident and a female staff member.
Photos of breasts were also allegedly found on one of the mobile phones.
