Artists Robert and Vicki McDonald believe that the North-East Art Gallery- Studio gives tourists another reason to stop over and explore the hamlet.
"(The studio gallery) gives visitors somewhere to go to see something cultural," Mrs McDonald said.
Mrs McDonald said she reproduced most paintings on cards, popular with tourists who wished to take home with them a memento of their trip through the North-East.
Mr McDonald tends to work more in abstract free- form sculptures, using huon pine as a medium.
The studio gallery is open every day except Monday.
