A man has been arrested after leading police on a chase up the North Esk River.
Police said the man was piloting an allegedly-stolen vessel, and the boat was recovered when they arrested him near Ravenswood shortly after 3.45pm on Monday, November 20.
Officers said it was an isolated incident and did not present a threat to the wider community.
Police did not say that charges had been laid.
Boat users were clear to enter the water.

Police are currently chasing a man who is onboard an allegedly stolen vessel on the Tamar River.
Tasmania Police in a statement issued on Monday afternoon said work was being done to ensure the man could be taken safely into custody.
They said there was no threat to the community, but boat users are asked to avoid going on the water until the matter is resolved.
