Victoria ends teacher vaccine mandate, will Tasmanian Department of Education follow suit?

Public Health director Mark Veitch says the vaccine mandates were an effective way of ensuring widespread coverage in the community, particularly in professions that engage with at-risk people.

The Department of Education has declined to say whether the COVID vaccination mandate for teachers and other staff will finish at the end of term two.
