Not only that, Stebbings said it was the first time ever Tassie has had two All-Australian umpires badged and actively umpiring at the same time.
The pair umpired the Collingwood Magpies versus Queensland Firebirds Super Netball pride match on Sunday.
They'll umpire together again on Wednesday night at 6pm when the Magpies take on the Giants at the Silverdome.
"All-Australian is very rare, in my lifetime there's only been three in Tasmania that are AA level," Stebbings said.
Stebbings, who has officiated at the National Netball Championships and in the Australian Netball League, umpired her first Super Netball match in 2021 between the Melbourne Vixens and West Coast Fever.
She umpired four Super Netball games last season and was one of 12 umpires who earned a contract this year.
Stebbings, who has ramped up her strength and conditioning training, described the step up to Super Netball as intense given the faster pace, bigger bodies and higher skill level.
She's juggling full-time work with interstate travel each weekend.
Stebbings, who has umpired since she was about 10, started officiating state league when she was 14.
It was special she got to share Sunday's game with long-time friend, Bowring.
They have umpired a host of state league grand finals together.
"We hadn't umpired together since 2016 so it was very exciting for us," she said.
"He's been an amazing supporter of mine and always used to talk to me about when the time would come.
"He would say things like 'you will umpire Super Netball'."
While Sunday was a thrill, the prospect of umpiring at her home court is exciting for Stebbings.
"I've umpired probably 1000 games at the Silverdome, it's one of my favourite places to umpire," she said.
"And my parents are coming and they've never seen me umpire Super Netball live."
Stebbings gave special mention to coach Marj Kerslake who has mentored herself and Bowring.
"She's always believed in both of us," Stebbings said.
"Josh and I feel proud we can umpire in front of her in our home state because she's been so pivotal in our development from being kids until now."
Bowring, a long-time Super Netball umpire, will be officiating at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games later this year.
The Magpies defeated the Firebirds 71-67 at Derwent Entertainment Centre on Sunday after leading at every change.
They're sitting sixth and the Giants are fourth. They each have four wins and five losses with only percentage separating them.
