An open men's side and an under-15 boys' side will compete at Casey Stadium in Victoria in June and July, marking the pinnacle of the sport's recent resurgence - especially in the North.

Northern players Rila Rizvy and John Hayes have been selected in the open side, as well as North-West Coaster Sam O'Mahony, while Sharin Shrestha, Shinu Bindal, Ethan Arnott and Jack Crane are in the junior outfit.

The team selections came following the state championships last month, which saw six sides do battle and was the second time that the North and South have collided.

The Northern Allies came away with two state titles, one more than their effort in September last year, winning the under-15 boys and the women's open A's.

The September tournament saw the masters side be victorious, which they were unable to defend, going down 126-67.

Indoor cricket royalty Clive Rose played in the Northern open side, providing a valuable experience for those around him before he represents Victoria in the upcoming national titles.

The Northern indoor cricket rosters see 18 men's teams play across three nights, while two women's teams play each other on Sundays, with more women always welcome to join up.

The national championships sides are also fundraising for their campaign as well as any future plans for the sport in the state, with a GoFundMe page available on the Tasmanian Indoor Cricket Facebook page.
