Running from Thursday to Sunday, the exhibition will display about 60 artworks from society members as well as those who have run workshops in the past.
LAS committee member and exhibition co-ordinator Carlene Bullock said that the society tries to exhibit at least eight times a year to showcase local talent.
"It's a real thrill to see your work on the walls with other people's work," Ms Bullock said.
"It's OK to see it when you're working at home, but it's really lovely to be able to appreciate your work alongside other people's".
The LAS - which has been running for 130 years - is the oldest continually running regional art society in the country, a legacy Ms Bullock wants to see stretch well into the future.
"We enjoy community involvement because that often leads to more people coming to join us and adding their skills to the skills that we already have here," she said.
Ms Bullock has been a part of the society for more than three decades and said that she hoped that the exhibitions would inspire more people to join the society well after her tenure.
"I would like to think that our society will change with the times and still remain as an art society in whatever form for another 130 years," she said.
Since leaving Eskleigh, the LAS has not had a dedicated exhibition space to display its works.
But Launceston Legacy president Terry Byrne has opened the Legacy House doors to host the exhibition.
Mr Byrne said that it was about lifting the profile of Legacy Launceston and letting the wider community know that they're there to support.
"This is who we are, and this is what we do. We help the community other than just the veteran community," he said.
Mr Byrne said that he hoped that younger veterans or widows who weren't aware of them could find connection through the art.
