It was a Tasmanian clean sweep in the under-15 girl's combined as Abbey Berlese claimed top spot away from her teammates Izzy Wing (second place) and Charli Ross (third place).
Wing was in top spot after the opening day and was closely followed by Berlese but Ross was the big mover on day two at Lakeside Stadium in Melbourne.
The eventually third-place getter secured one of the better points hauls on the final day to shift up two places into the podium spots.
Wing and Berlese came top-three in the hurdles section of the event while Wing topped the field in the high-jump with Ross in third.
Wing was again top of the sheets after the 200m section with Ross and Berlese in fourth and fifth position. Ross rose to the top in long jump before Berlese took that honour in javelin and the 800m event which gave her the points for top spot overall.
In the boys' equivalent, Tasmania narrowly missed out on a podium spot with Blake Doyle placing fourth narrowly behind Western Australia's Jaxon Stewart on points. Doyle's teammates Theo Collins (sixth place) and Avery Thomas (ninth place) also secured top-10 finishes in the event.
The results across the two-day event from the under-13 and under-15 squad members means that Tasmania will return home with silverware after securing the life member's trophy and retaining the Dick Healy trophy.
