Lego lovers are in for a treat as The Tasmanian Brick Enthusiasts' Brixhibition Launceston. The event will showcase many creations at a new location, the Launceston Exhibition Centre, on April 23 and April 24. Tickets are available at www.brixhibition.com, sessions run from 9am to 3pm each day.
Targa Expo
April 26
For the first time in three years, TARGA Tasmania returns to the Launceston Silverdome for the 30th Anniversary Expo. See the world's largest tarmac rally on display -- the raging Vipers, the sleek Porsches and the incredible new Ultima will all be there, along with the cavalcade of motoring history TARGA Tasmania is famous for. We're Going to Graceland

In their first show together, these legends of Aussie music present the songs of one of the world's greatest living songwriters, Paul Simon. Junction Presents
May 6-8
Junction Arts Festival has unveiled a new teaser event to be hosted in Launceston from May 6-8 titled, Junction Presents. Junction Presents will be a weekend to experience Launceston culture during autumn, through unique art installations, live music and performance, architecture, food and wine. Tickets are limited and on sale via the Junction website.
The Launceston Ukulele Jamboree
May 7th
A riot of colour and ukulele mayhem is coming as three Tasmanian ukulele-themed bands, as well as a headline act from QLD, prepare to perform in the heart of Launceston on May 7. Performers include mainland duo AlfAnant, Hobart duo The Ukes of Hazzard. Tickets for the Launceston Ukulele Jamboree event are via Oztix and the Launceston Ukulele Jamboree Facebook event page.
Australian Musical Theatre Festival
May 18 - 22
This year's Australian Musical Theatre Festival brings the talents of Paulini, Philip Quast and Chloe Dallimore to Launceston. The festival celebrates all things musical theatre with workshops, performances, and other events. The event will be held in various locations around Launceston including The Princess Theatre and the Earl Arts Centre. Visit amtf.org.au for more information.
