The festival ran from 9am to 3pm and was held at the Launceston Conference Centre. Admission was free.
With more than 70 stalls, the event showcased the state's creativity, offering a range of locally crafted goods like woodwork, and plants.
Among the array of stallholders, Deb's Succulent Garden stood out as a favourite of market attendees.
Owner Debbie Hingston said she had frequented various markets for more than five years to sell the succulents she grows and pots.
"It's a hobby that got out of hand and evolved," she said.
"Anything to do with succulents can be made into different arrangements and used to decorate things."
Ms Hingston revealed she had even found a way to adorn birthday and wedding cakes with the plants.
Sharee Brown, who is the owner of Swan Bay-based business, Laser Stuff, said she was another stallholder whose hobby had grown to become something larger.
Initial experiments with wood cutting laser led Ms Brown to discover the tools use in artistic settings.
"We can now engrave chopping and serving boards, jars, vases, and coasters with drawings of native animals, flowers as well as dogs and cats," she said.
Board member at WayFM - the event organisers - Jim Grey said the day had been a success and by 12pm about 1500 people had already been through the entry gate.
"Events like this are just a great day out, not only for stallholders, but for the community as well," he said.
